The club is an associate member of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB).

The Crailing Trophy rules

The trophy is given to the member who accumulates the most competition points throughout the year.  The beginners trophy is for those who have had less than three year’s experience at woodturning.  Rules 1. All members are encouraged to use British hardwoods. 2. Members are encouraged to donate entries to the the club for sale at craft fairs, open days, coffee mornings etc. 3. All members present at the meeting are eligible invited to vote.  4. All entries score one point. 5. Other points are as follows: 4 for first place, 3 for second place and 2 for third place.  6. The member with most points at the end of the year will be presented with the Crailing Trophy as per the clubs rules.  To see the history of the competition click here.
