Gary Lowe came along to the Lothian Hall venue of the Scottish Borders Woodturners to give us a demonstration of his skills. The turnout included visitors from both Wear Valley Club and Broxburn Woodcraft Club who also came to see what the Kilted Turner (minus his Kilt) had to offer. Gary turned a shallow bowl, a duck decorated lidded box and a small decorative figurine. To see more of the projects follow one of the links above. More of Gary’s work can be seen on his the web hereor on his facebook page or on YouTube. Some of Gary’s items on display during the demonstration at Lothian Hall, Crailing can be seen to the right. Many thanks to Clark Kent Martin Dickinson, intrepid reporter, for his report on the day and his pictures. Thanks also to Graham Cowe for his photographic expertise (see right).
